Rose Haynes (she/her/hers) is a poet, writer, philanthropy consultant, self-directed learning advocate, and parent to an awesome 10-year-old unschooler. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, fund development, and philanthropy. In addition to Alder Commons, she is proud to serve on the board of Northbay Letterpress Arts, and as a member of the Sonoma County Poet Laureate Selection Committee. Rose received an MFA in Poetry from San Francisco State University, and lives in Sonoma County, CA with her husband and son, a noisy bird, and a delightfully rambunctious puppy.
