This course (on 6 consecutive Mondays) is designed for beginning and seasoned drawing students alike. We will explore building, developing, applying and understanding fundamental drawing skills using the Human Figure. Through this course, you will acquire a deeper understanding of drawing as visual communication and of human anatomy. This course is intended for students of all ages.



We will meet via Zoom, Mondays 5:30pm-7pm PST, for 6 weeks. We will be dividing our sessions between live demonstrations, drawing from a model, and personalized feedback. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants.

All sessions will be recorded and emailed, so you can watch and download them at your leisure.

Your Instructor

Isaac Fletcher Weiss is an Oregon based artist who has been teaching in arts education for over 15 years. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Long Beach State University and his Master of Fine Arts from Portland State University. His work is grounded in classic observational drawing and sculpture, and explores contemporary boundaries of the urban-natural space.
